Welcome to Veneto Hotel – Rethymno
Located in the heart of the Venetian Old Town of Rethymno, the 14th century building of Veneto is only a three-minute walk from the commercial area, as well as the seafront and the numerous nightclubs. It is an elegant 3 storey building of ancient Venetian style, which has been carefully and attractively restored to become an exclusive hotel of just ten suites.

The oldest part of the building used to be monk cells of a Dominican monastery built in the 14th century. The newer part is dated in the Venetian era in Crete mid 15th, early 16th century.
The 10 luxurious rooms, 4 suites and 6 studios, are all equipped with private bathroom, air-conditioner, kitchenette, refrigerator with mini bar, direct-dial phone, satellite TV and safety deposit box.
On the ground floor and garden yard of the hotel you can enjoy Cretan, Greek and creative cuisine in one of the most famous restaurants in Crete. The organisation of the restaurant is supervised by the owner himself, who is a member of the Academy of Wine and Taste. The ingredients used are strictly selected, as much as possible, from the Cretan land. Most of them are products of biological agriculture and free grazing. Also on the ground floor there is a stone cellar with a standard temperature of 18-20 degrees, which is ideal for preserving one of the most remarkable wine collections on the island at the right conditions.
