We are starting off with the visit to a traditional Raki distillery - Raki is the local 'White Lightning” made by the villagers. As it is a remedy for many ailments, you'll have a good excuse to have a go on some strong stuff before the sun even reaches its zenith.
Be mesmerized by watching the skillful potters of Thrapsano at work, There's even an opportunity to buy their creations as souvenirs at much better prices than in your resort.
In Vianos we' ll have a brake for coffee and for you to discover the beauty of a real cretan village on your own.
Climb up to the tiny cave-like whitewashed church of Kalamafka or relax over a tasty lunch in one of the village taverns.
Take in the panoramic views of the Cretan and the Libyan Sea, north and south coast from a cliff hanging over the narrowest part of the island.
